Tap anywhere to reverse direction. That is the whole game: time each reversal to slip through the gaps in the closing walls. Sustained rotation in one direction banks a Flow Shield, which absorbs one hit. Long-press to spend the shield for a moment of slow-motion through a tight pattern.
There are four ways to play: Endless (climb the phases for a high score), Story (92 stages and 20 boss fights across four acts), Boss Rush (every boss back to back), and a date-seeded Daily Challenge.
Coins are a soft currency. You earn them by playing (Endless, Boss Rush, and the Daily Challenge), and you can also buy coin packs. Spend them in the Shop on cosmetic player colors and visual skins. Coins never expire, cosmetics are the only thing they buy, and none of it affects gameplay.
Coin-pack purchases credit within a few seconds of completing. If a pack you bought hasn't arrived, make sure you're online, then fully close and reopen Orbit so it can re-sync your balance. Still missing? Email us with the store you used (App Store or Google Play) and the approximate purchase time and we'll sort it out.
The only ads are optional rewarded videos. When a run ends you can choose to watch a short video to continue. That is the only place an ad ever appears: there are no banner ads, no interstitials, and you're never shown one unless you tap to watch it. On iOS you'll be asked once whether to allow the advertising identifier, and you can decline (the ads still work).
Scores submit when you're online. If you played offline, they're queued locally and uploaded the next time you open the game with a connection. Set a display name in Settings, since runs without a name aren't shown publicly. There are both all-time and weekly leaderboards.
Orbit pauses the soundtrack when you leave the app and resumes when you come back. If audio stays silent after returning, fully close and reopen Orbit.
Orbit doesn't collect personal data tied to your real identity. Your progress is stored locally on your device, so uninstalling Orbit removes it. If you've submitted scores to the leaderboard with a display name and want them removed, email us with your display name and we'll delete the records.
