Orbit by Idle Flow Games ("we", "us") is a mobile and web game. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and which third-party services are involved.
When you play Orbit on a device with an internet connection, we create an anonymous account automatically (no email, password, or sign-in required). This account is used to submit scores to the global leaderboard. The data stored includes:
Display names and scores are visible to other players on the leaderboard. No email, real name, or device identifier is collected by this service.
This data is stored using Supabase, a cloud database provider.
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous gameplay events such as which game phase you reached, your score, and which achievements you earned. This data contains no personally identifiable information beyond the standard Firebase install identifier and helps us understand how players experience the game so we can improve balance and content.
We use Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to collect anonymous crash and error reports on the Android and iOS apps, and Sentry on the web and desktop versions. These reports include technical information such as the error message, stack trace, app version, platform, and operating system. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Orbit offers optional in-app purchases of "coins", a soft in-game currency spent only on cosmetic player colors and visual skins. Purchases are processed through your device's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) and managed by RevenueCat, which receives your anonymous app store user ID and purchase receipt to verify the purchase. We do not receive or store your payment details.
On Android, if you choose to sign in to Google Play Games, Orbit uses your Play Games account to submit scores to Google Play leaderboards, unlock Play Games achievements, and mirror your save data to Google's Saved Games cloud. The Play Games account is anonymous to us — we do not see your Google account email or profile. Sign-in is optional; you can decline the prompt or play without it, and you can revoke access any time in your Google account settings. See Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles Play Games data.
Orbit saves your game progress (high scores, unlocked modes, achievements, and settings) locally on your device using standard browser/app storage. This data does not leave your device unless you submit a score to the leaderboard.
On Android and iOS, Orbit offers optional rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob. You only ever see an ad if you choose to watch one for an in-game reward (an extra "continue"). There are no banner or interstitial ads, and an ad is never shown without you choosing to watch it. To serve and measure these ads, AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier; on iOS we ask your permission first through the system App Tracking Transparency prompt, and you can decline (ads still work, just non-personalized). See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles AdMob data. The web version does not show ads.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or photos. We do not sell user data. We do not track or fingerprint you across apps or websites.
Orbit uses the following third-party services:
Each service has its own privacy policy linked above. We only share the minimum data described in this policy with each service.
Leaderboard scores are retained indefinitely. You can request deletion of your anonymous player profile and scores by contacting us at the email below. Local game data can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage in your device settings.
Orbit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The anonymous data described above (scores, crash reports) does not identify any individual user regardless of age.
We may update this policy when new features are added. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
