Baggage Belt privacy policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Baggage Belt is an airport idle game by Idle Flow Games ("we", "us"). This policy covers the game, its free demo and these Baggage Belt support and privacy pages.

You can play without creating an account. Mobile gameplay analytics and crash reporting are enabled by default, with separate controls in Settings. The sections below explain these reports and mobile purchase verification.

Game progress and settings

Your airport progress, passport stamps, settings and offline progress are stored locally on your device. We do not run a cloud-save server or receive a copy of your save automatically. On Steam, save files are stored in the game's data folder. The browser demo uses local browser storage.

You can export and import a save from Settings. Save codes contain only game progress. The game copies a save code to the clipboard when you export and reads the clipboard when you import. We receive a save only if you send it to us, for example with a support request.

Mobile purchases

Sunnyside Regional is free on iOS and Android. A single Full Game purchase permanently unlocks Frostpeak Alpine, Coral Lagoon and Moon Base Alpha.

Apple or Google processes the payment. RevenueCat verifies purchase receipts and manages access and restoration. It receives an anonymous app user identifier, purchase history and receipt or purchase token, and related technical information such as platform, app version, operating system, locale and currency. Its servers also receive the network information needed to handle requests, such as an IP address. We do not attach your name, email address or another account identifier to this record.

We use purchase records to provide and restore Full Game access and understand purchase totals in RevenueCat's dashboard. The app stores a local ownership cache so an existing unlock can work offline. We do not receive your payment card details or billing address.

Steam

Valve processes Steam purchases and handles Steam account information under the Steam privacy policy. The Steam version supports achievements, game-status Rich Presence and Steam Cloud saves through the Steam client. Your Steam privacy and Cloud settings control those services. RevenueCat is used only in the mobile apps.

The desktop game keeps technical logs locally to help diagnose problems. These are not automatically uploaded to us. If you send a log with a support request, we use it to investigate that request.

Mobile gameplay analytics

The iOS and Android apps use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how people play. Gameplay analytics is on by default. You can turn off Share gameplay data in Settings. This setting is stored on your device separately from your game save.

We record tutorial steps, upgrade and route choices, airport visits, renovations, away rewards and summaries of progress and bottlenecks. We separate time spent playing from time away so we can use this information to improve game balance. Firebase also records app launches, sessions and technical information such as app and operating-system versions, device type, language and an app-instance identifier. It can derive approximate geography from your network address. These records may be associated with the same app installation; they are not anonymous aggregates at collection.

We do not supply your name, email, Steam ID or RevenueCat identifier to Firebase. Advertising consent is denied, advertising identifiers are disabled, and we do not link this game to an advertising account. The Steam game, browser demo and game website do not use Firebase Analytics.

Turning analytics off stops new gameplay reports and disables Firebase collection. It also resets Firebase's local analytics data and app-instance identifier. Previously received records are not automatically deleted. Re-enabling analytics starts collection again.

Crash reports

The Steam game and demo, and the iOS and Android apps, use Sentry to report crashes and software errors. Send crash reports is on by default and can be turned off independently in Settings. Reports can include error stacks, app and operating-system versions, device and runtime details, approximate geography derived from network information, an installation or session identifier, and limited game context such as the current airport and whether Full Game is unlocked.

We filter JavaScript reports to remove account details, request contents, local usernames, URL queries, save codes and console breadcrumbs. Sentry discards IP addresses and raw native crash reports after processing. A native crash report may contain fragments of process memory before it is processed. We do not enable session recording, screenshots, advertising, performance tracing or profiling. Local technical logs remain on your device unless you send them to support.

Turning crash reporting off stops new reports. It does not delete reports already received. The browser demo and these web pages do not send Sentry reports.

Support requests

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any files you choose to attach, such as a screenshot, save code, log or purchase reference. We use them to answer you and investigate the issue. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or information that is unrelated to your request.

These web pages

These support and privacy pages contain no analytics tag, advertising cookie or embedded store widget. Our hosting and security providers receive ordinary web-request information, including your IP address, requested URL and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. The studio's main landing page has its own Google Analytics tag; that tag is not loaded on these pages.

Third-party services

These providers process information under their own policies and, where applicable, on our behalf. Services may process information outside your country. We do not sell personal information or use the game to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Retention and deletion

Your local save stays on your device until you reset it or remove its storage. Uninstalling a desktop game may leave save files behind. Copies you export, device backups and Steam Cloud copies must also be managed separately. Back up your save before uninstalling or changing devices.

We keep analytics and error reports under the retention settings of the relevant service while needed to investigate balance and software problems. We keep purchase-verification records while needed to provide and restore access, and support correspondence while needed to handle your request and related records. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes.

To request access, correction or deletion of information we hold, email [email protected] with the subject "Baggage Belt data request". Tell us your platform and what information you want us to find. For purchase-related requests, include a store purchase reference if available. Analytics and crash-reporting records use installation or session identifiers; an email address alone may not let us identify those records. We will explain the information available to locate them. We may need further information to locate an anonymous RevenueCat record. We will respond to your request and explain any information we must retain.

Deleting a RevenueCat record does not cancel a purchase, issue a refund or delete the store's own billing record. Restoring purchases later may create a new verification record. Requests concerning Apple, Google or Steam account records must also be directed to that provider. Contact us at the same address to exercise other privacy rights available where you live.

Children's privacy

Baggage Belt is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its date when the game's data practices change, including before adding new analytics or error-reporting services.
