Babeh by Idle Flow Games ("we", "us") is a mobile app that helps partners collaborate on baby-name shortlists. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and which third-party services are involved.
Babeh uses Google Sign-In (via the Android Credentials Manager) to create your account, authenticated through Firebase Authentication. When you sign in, we receive a stable Google account identifier and your Google account's display name and email address. We use this to identify your account, link you with your partner, and contact you about account-related issues only. We do not post to or read from your Google account beyond sign-in.

This data is stored in Cloud Firestore under your account so it can sync between your devices and be shared with the partner you explicitly connect to.
Babeh works in pairs. To connect with your partner, one of you generates an invitation code and the other enters it. Once connected, both partners can see each other's name reactions and any names that both partners liked (matches). Either partner can disconnect at any time, which stops new data from being shared. We do not share your reactions with anyone other than your connected partner.
We use Firebase Analytics to collect usage and performance events such as which screens were visited, which features were used, app health, crashes, and store-link attribution. Google and Firebase measurement SDKs may use device identifiers for analytics measurement, including the Firebase installation ID and, where available on Android, the Advertising ID or AdServices advertising ID. We use this for analytics only. Babeh does not show ads, target ads, send marketing based on the Advertising ID, or use the Advertising ID to personalise baby-name suggestions.
Babeh's AI name suggestions run entirely on your device using a local on-device language model. Your reactions, dealbreakers, and preferences are not sent to any cloud AI service for suggestion generation. No prompts, completions, or inference data leave your device.
Babeh saves your name database, settings, recent activity, and downloaded on-device AI model files locally on your device using standard app storage. This data does not leave your device unless it is part of the synced profile data described above.
Babeh offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Babeh+") that unlocks AI personalisation features and advanced filters for both connected partners. The purchase is processed by Google Play Billing, and we use RevenueCat to verify and synchronise entitlement state across your devices and your partner's. When you buy or restore Babeh+, RevenueCat receives your stable account identifier (your Firebase Authentication user ID), your Google Play purchase token, your device platform and version, your country code, and the product identifier. We use this only to confirm that you (or your partner) have purchased Babeh+ and to manage refunds and restores. We do not receive your full payment card or billing address — those are handled by Google Play and remain with Google. Your partner sees only that an entitlement is active for the couple; they do not see your purchase token, transaction details, or any payment information.
We do not collect your real first name, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone audio. We do not show ads. We do not sell user data. We do not use the Advertising ID for advertising, marketing, cross-app tracking, or fingerprinting.

Google services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We only share the minimum data described in this policy with each service.
Profile, reactions, matches, and partner-connection data are retained while your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below; we will delete your account record, profile, reactions, and any pending invitations within 30 days of receiving the request. Local data on your device can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage in your device settings.
Babeh is intended for adults planning a family and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy when new features are added. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
